  Dr. Betancourt opened Mentus Health in Fort Myers to increase access to affordable and compassionate mental health treatment for clients of all ages. He has been specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry for more than 25 years, and opened Mentus Health after spending much of his career in Charlotte, NC, training and working at Duke University Medical Center.

  Dr. Betancourt's treatment approach includes a combination of medication management and individualized psychotherapies, including an innovative ketamine therapy. He can provide comprehensive psychiatric and psychological diagnostic evaluations, as well as evidenced and empirically based psychotherapy and medication management treatment services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Betancourt is fluent in English and Spanish.

  Jaclyn Eastman is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Boston, Massachusetts, dedicated to providing patient-centered, integrative care that supports individuals on their journey back to wellness. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, she partners with each patient and family to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.

  Jaclyn has a deep passion for child and adolescent psychiatry and extends her empathetic care to patients of all ages. Her diverse medical experience, gained through traveling and practicing across the country, has shaped her holistic perspective and commitment to high-quality, personalized care. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy. Jaclyn is also a certified ADHD specialist.

  She specializes in treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and is REMS-certified to provide SPRAVATO® (esketamine) for appropriate adults in our supervised clinical setting.

  Alexandria Novytskyi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor in Florida who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care. Her approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and relational, with a focus on creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered in their healing process.

  Alexandria draws from therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, attachment-based work, somatic strategies, and couples counseling interventions to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, relationship concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and women's mental health challenges.

  In addition to her clinical work, Alexandria is completing her Doctor of Social Work (DSW) in Clinical Supervision and Leadership and continues to pursue advanced training in trauma, mood disorders, neurodiversity, grief, and couples therapy.

She is especially dedicated to supporting individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, as well as their caregivers. Using a holistic, patient-centered approach, Melissa offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and tailored psychotherapy. Her diverse clinical background allows her to deliver thoughtful, high-quality care that meets each patient's unique needs.
